I had my baby shower last night and Declan did very well. He started to get a little cranky right before we left my friend's house to come home but for the most part he slept through the whole event. He is growing so quickly and a lot of people, who hadn't seen him since he was born, said that he had changed a lot. He really has! He is so much more alert now and is sleeping well. He has slept through the night for the past 2 nights. What a blessing it has been for Jeremy and I! My father, step-mother, and step-sister are all here now, along with their doggie and Maya is loving all of the attention. She LOVES the dog and follows it all over the house, but what she loves the most is the doggie cage. There are a few shots below of her playing in it.
My father bought us a double stroller which has come in real handy. Maya loves sitting up front but I feel like she is so far away now. She is such a big girl! When Declan's car seat is on the floor, she loves to rock him and just yesterday she covered him with her very own blankie. She is learning to share already! She is going to be such a sweet older sister.
I will have to post pictures of the baby shower and of the great gifts that we received a little later, but for now I will leave you with these precious photos.

Aww Tammy, they really are growing up fast aren't they! Declan has changed already, amazing!!! And that little Maya... wow, look at all that hair!!! I'm jealous! She's got SOOO much more than my little Ruby does!! lol
I hope the sleeping through the night continues for you & Jeremy!!! That's such an awesome thing when they start doing that!

Maya's hair is certainly growing and her eyes are absolutely beautiful! I think Declan may be another beauty. He's already showing signs of being one good-looing kid. Aren't you (and Jeremy) lucky though - 2 gorgeous looking and HEALTHY children!

Hey beautiful!! How sweet are they..I bet I know what you where thankful for, for thanksgiving!!! I cant wait to see the shower pics..how wonderful!! Declan is a doll and I love when they smile in their sleep..Maya is getting so big..I cant believe it!! She needs to come show devyn how to walk like a big girl!! Is that an American thing to get 2 baby showers? You don't usually get a shower for a 2nd baby! You Lucky girl!! It's so nice to be able to celebrate each baby with a party of their own, where they can be the center of attention. I felt invisible after Logan was born, but I also had more PPD feelings then. I didn't need/want gifts, but a party would have been so nice! I want to see pics of what you got, did you take any?? Are you having more kids? Hope everything is going well. Got any snow yet, it finally hit us sunday night nov.25th!
