Declan is almost rolling over now. He has also been showing signs of teething as well. He drools and makes bubbles and likes to punch all of the hanging toys on his play-mat. It is so hard to believe that he is 2 1/2 months now. Maya was in her crib by 6 weeks of age but Declan is still sleeping in the bassinet in our bedroom so perhaps that is why he seems younger to me sometimes. He is beginning to outgrow the bassinet though so Maya will soon have to make her move into her new bed or else Declan will be sleeping in his pak-n-play for a while. Maya has only slept by herself in her big girl bed once and it was not an all night thing....unfortunately. I am going to try her in there again tonight to see if she does any better.
In the meantime, Maya got her first haircut....
And she finally fit into her birthday outfit from Nanny...
Declan's eyelashes are almost as long as Maya's now...

Have you tried having Maya's bed up against one wall and then using a bed rail? It helped with the transition for Isabelle. For Zoë we bought a daybed and it has the low side against the wall...so it's basically still a crib...haha! I hope she starts sleeping in it soon.
Yeah Maya's bed is against 2 walls and the railing is on the other side. I think she just wants to be the baby sometimes. Plus, I don't think she is used to her new room yet. We will keep trying her in her new bed but we are not going to force it on her just yet. We have the pak-n-play for Declan if we need to use it.
