Here it is: Maya's new bedroom. She will only be using it as a toy room for the next few months because she is too young to get into a bed yet, but she will be in there as soon as the baby is transferred from the bassinet into the crib. She already LOVES her new room and wants to play in there all the time. We still have to find some white shelves to put on her wall by the toy area so we can store her books, and add a couple of side rails to the bed so she doesn't fall out. But all in all, we are so thankful that it is mostly completed!

Wow, a big bed! I couldn't imagine putting Logan in a big bed, he'll probably have another year or more in the crib. We moved Jonah to a big bed at 2 years old and ever since then we have had a visitor almost every night in our bed, it is rare he stays all night in his bed. I love how much he wants to be close to mommy & daddy though, it won't be like that forever!!

Yeah we figure that Maya will be in her new bed when she is around 15 months or so. She is already showing signs of wanting to sleep in there. She knows how to get off the bed by herself (easing down the sides) so we think she will be ready in the next 3-5 months or so. We just didn't want to purchase another crib if she was only going to be in it for a few months.
Wow PINK!!! So girly. Looks cute. Zoë is going into her big girl bed in about a month.
For sure, it would be pointless to buy another crib! The bed was so the way to go for her. She does do very well getting down, she's a smart cookie!
Zach went in at 16 months because we moved to our new house and I just refused to take apart the crib put it back up and then taking it down again a few months later. It went well. Thank goodness for the bed rails. Isabella was in early too because she was climbing out of the crib and falling, so we had no choice. The room is beautiful. I can't imagine what it will look like once all the toys go in and she ends up sleeping in there. My kids rooms just don't stay that tidy. Maybe Maya is different! How great would that be!
