Resting Peacefully

I slept like a baby last night. For the first time in a long time I was able to get some well needed rest without the constant hassel of contractions, back aches, or bathroom breaks. Jeremy said that he slept pretty well too so we are pretty thankful for that. Hopefully it will continue until the baby is here.

Thank you all so much for checking out my blog. The support is great and I love reading your comments. I am starting to be okay with the wait now - probably because I am going through less pain these days. It was difficult over the last few weeks because I was in constant pain of some sort, but for some reason I am feeling a little better these days. Either I have gotten used to it, or the pain is just not as evident anymore. The baby is still moving, but not as regularly as normal. I guess that means it is getting ready to come out.

On Friday at my next appointment it would be nice for the doctor to tell me that I have progressed so far that she would like to keep me in the hospital, but I am not counting on it. My doctor likes to push the envelope and make me go as far overdue as I can handle. If there is one thing I know for sure it is that we will have this baby sometime before November 11th. Seems like a long time away, but I am okay with waiting if I have to.

Take it easy everyone...

Just 1 more day until my due date.

I'm glad you are feeling better...but I can't believe that baby isn't here yet...you do have stubborn babies. Or maybe they are just laid back and in no hurry:) I'll be praying for you!

Maybe this is the calm before the storm!! Maybe you're body is getting ready because labour is nearby, well you can hope! If anything, I hope the pain you've been having can stay away as long as possible, until the big day of course, there's no getting away from that pain.
Can't wait to hear about baby soon.

Hmmm...the calm before the storm? Maybe this baby is about to make an appearance! Good luck!

IT IS NICE THAT YOU GOT SOME REST. TAKE IT WHILE YOU CAN BECAUSE HAVING 2 KIDS CAN BE PRETTY CRAZY SOME DAYS. WISHING YOU LABOUR VIBES. HUGS.

I agree with Beth. Sometimes our body gets us ready for things like labor. I'm impressed with your patience. I'm not sure I would be the same way. Keep us posted. Thinking about you lots.
