Maya at 18 months
We almost have our master bedroom completed. We have the walls painted and the furniture has finally arrived but we we still have to buy curtains and bedding. I am also planning to paint something to hang above our bed too. Hopefully, though, we will have it all done for my next blog. This house is a work in progress!
Maya is talking like crazy now. She repeats every word we say and we have had to result to spelling words (like P-A-R-K) so she doesn't know what we are talking about. She talks to her toys in the bath-tub and tries to get Declan to laugh. Whenever I put her down to sleep, I always as "I Love You" and she says it back to me. It is the sweetest thing I have ever heard. And just today, I sneezed and she said "Bless You!" She loves the park and has no fear of any part of it. She slides down the big slide by herself and climbs all over the structure without me standing behind her the whole way. If she falls, she gets back up and dusts herself off...unless she's super tired. In which case she lets everyone in the park know that she is hurt. I love this age, but it is also very hard. She is in the beginning stages of her TERRIBLE TWOS so if she doesn't get her own way, then she has a fit. Hopefully it won't last long though.
Declan is so close to sitting-up now. We just bought a new car seat for him because he was out-growing his infant one. He is very tall and blocky now. I think he is going to make one great football player in the future. "AND NOW ARRIVING ON THE FIELD....OREGON STATE BEAVERS STARTING QUARTERBACK, DECLAN C WILLIAMS!!!" But for now, he has to focus on eating his baby food. He loves sweet potatoes and avacado. We are slowly getting him used to baby food because we know that he is not quite 6 months old yet and his body is still developing. He's eating well though.
So that is an update from us.

How much does Declan weigh and how tall is he?
I think we are going to have to move Spencer to a bigger seat but only because he will be 26" not the weight limit. Love the pictures of your kids. THey are getting so big.
Your kiddos are getting so big. Maya looks like a little girl with her hair all pulled back...not like a baby at all, but I guess she is not anymore;) Hope you guys are doing well and we look forward to seeing your new home:)
they are so sweet! we have had to start spelling words as well with g.g.. it's amazing how fast they catch on!

Well it's no good spelling words with Gabrielle around. Even though she is only 3 and can't spell, she can figure out what you are talking about from the rest of the conversation. Kids are too smart these days! HA!
