Busy Kids While Mommy's Away

On Friday Jeremy mentioned that he would be going mountain biking on Saturday with his friend Nathan so I thought it was just fair that I would have a ME day on Sunday. So after church on Sunday, I went shopping for a couple of hours and then got my first Spa Facial. It was so great! When I got home, Jeremy said he had a rough day with the kids. I guess he quickly realised that when you take care of kids this age, it is not about YOUR schedule but about THEIR schedule. Declan was pretty cranky, probably because he only had one nap while I was gone. And Maya was her normal active self. Jeremy was trying to do some much needed yard work but Maya was making it very difficult for him. She managed to fall on the concrete and scrape her leg pretty bad. Although it was a rough day, Jeremy was able to catch some pictures of her in the yard...

Then when I came home I was showing off my new clothes to everyone and Maya decided to try on my new bra....

And just like his sister, Declan likes to eat mommy's food! I was on my way upstairs with my hands full and Declan managed to start eating my cookie. That's right, a 6 month old eating MY cookie. Sheesh - you would think we are staving our kids or something....haha.



On another note, my mom is going into the hospital tomorrow to have surgery. For those of you who know my mom, please pray for her. She is having a Hysterectomy so she will be in the hospital for a few days and will be recovering at home for many weeks to come. I wish I could be there with her. Please pray that she is comforted while her two daughters cannot be there. Thanks! We love you mom!
