I am officially out of my 20's now. I turned the big 3-0 yesterday and we celebrated with a trip to the Portland Zoo. It was hot and the kids were tired and grumpy and Maya was a little scared of some of the animals but we still had fun walking around and seeing the exhibits. We came home and Jeremy cooked an awesome breaded chicken & rice dinner for me and topped it off with a slice of turtle cheesecake.....mmmmm! It was divine! Here are a few shots of my big day...
The highlight of my weekend though was going skiing on Saturday. Jeremy wanted to do something fun for my birthday so he decided to take me skiing at Timberline Resort on Mt. Hood. It was around 75 - 80 degrees and some people were in bikini tops. What a beautiful time of the year to ski! We had TONS of fun!
