We had a fun little playdate at our house today. Maya and Declan love having friends over. Maya is little Miss Social Butterfly and she loved having Mikayla around to play with for a couple of hours. She had a small fall off the 2nd step and cut her lip a little bit, but she brushed off the pain pretty quickly. Declan also fell - off a kitchen chair, but I caught him before he hit his head on the hard floor. There must have been a lot more stimulation to make the kids so stumbly. But they had fun none-the-less!
Here is Kenneth wearing Maya's sunglasses while riding horseback.
Here is Maya kissing her horse.

Tomorrow we will be heading to Sun River to stay with Jeremy's parents in their timeshare. I love it there - especially at times like this when there is snow on the ground. I normally HATE snow, but when we are not responsible to shovel or get from point A to point B, snow tends to bring on a new sense of warmth. Hot co-coa, a warm fire, skiing and hot-tubbing. Ok, well maybe I jumped the gun - I just got an email from Jeremy telling me the forcast for this weekend - rain and only SOME snow fall. Oh well, three out of four is not too bad.
The last time we went to Sun River was for Jeremy's birthday in mid-December 2005. We had only been married for 2 1/2 months at the time and I found out a few weeks after this trip that we were pregnant with Maya. Anyway, judge for yourselves, but I think we have all changed quite a bit in the last 3 1/2 years.
This is me and Jeremy hugging a tree. Yes, I love getting pictures next to trees...:)
Jeremy cross-country skiing
There was a Santa display in the lobby of the Lodge and Santa's Naughty-or-Nice list was there with my former last name on it...Curtis. (Yes, little things amuse little minds.)
This was at the skating rink.

My in-laws returning from the Hot Tub. I think I was wearing a lot more clothes than Jeremy's parents and that is why I took the picture. I remember that it was FREEZING that night!
Anyway, I am really looking forward to having the kids with us this time around. I'm sure there will be a lot of pictures to post when we return on Monday.
