From Ottoman to Futon

The ottoman was good while it lasted up in our bonus room but we are happy to see it reunited with its family of couches downstairs. After selling our couch, we only had 4 options of seating upstairs:
  • two toddler chairs

  • ottoman

  • rocking chair

...none on which were remotely comfortable to sit. While a futon is never the first choice for comfortable seating, we have once again welcomed the Williams family futon back into our home. I say the family futon because it has been in Jeremy's sister's home, my mother-in-law's salon, and now our home. Hopefully it will serve us well - at least until we find it in our budget to buy a comfortable love seat for our bonus room. Transforming our room from a family room to a play room means that there doesn't have to be so much seating, so this futon should work well for now. The next step is finding a TV we like to put in our living room downstairs so we can actually sit on the comfy couch down there. Yes, we have the money, but according to Jeremy we must wait until there is a big sale or at least until the Samsung 46" LCD comes available again. (Although we are starting to think that a 50" or 52" might be better in that room).

The kids seem to get lost in the futon though. It's pretty big!...
