Hunchback Goes To The Salon

I have been suffering major back pain for several days now. Last night was the first night that I actually didn't wake-up at all so I think the pain is beginning to subside a bit. It is not fun trying to take care of the kids when my body is imitating the Hunchback of Notre Dame. However, I managed to venture out of the house last night to start work on my mother-in-law's salon. (Stay tuned to my blog for complete remodel pictures). Thanks to my wonderful friend, Sarah, for helping me get started and for being there to help lift the heavy things. Jeremy stayed home with the kids last night but we plan to do the bulk of the remodel on Saturday. We are so grateful that Sarah and her husband have agreed to help in this project. With my back issues and Jeremy still recovering from his surgery, we are very thankful to have friends like them.

For those of you who are totally in the dark, Jeremy's mother asked me to create a new interior design for her hair salon. I was given a small budget and I am really trying hard to stay ON BUDGET. My in-laws will be returning from Indiana on Wednesday so this project has to be completed before then. And so begins our real life version of WHILE YOU WERE OUT!)

I know that my mother-in-law is probably reading this from INDIANA and expecting some pictures of her salon remodel, but I'm afraid that pictures of our kids will have to do for now:

Declan loves wearing daddy's hat and Maya's glasses...

On Tuesday, I tried making Maya's hair curly...

The kids love to brush their teeth together...

That looks like a lot of Guck in Maya's hair. She's beautiful though. Can't wait to see them. I have a feeling that they are going to wear me out. They have so much energy! Obviously happy children!

I really like when people are expressing their opinion and thought. So I like the way you are writing

This is my first visit here, but I will be back soon, because I really like the way you are writing, it is so simple and honest
