Remodeling with Super Heroes

I don't know if it is that my kids have inherited my passion for design and remodeling or if it is just their super powers at work. Last week we found Maya's drawer to her bed broken with the face of it laying on the floor. After some analysis of their behavior, I have decided that it was our little Hercules that managed to rip the face off the drawer. Declan loves playing with Maya's socks and this was the only drawer housing her socks....ergo Hercules did it. Jeremy drilled the pieces back together once, then twice. Today I found the drawer face broken again on the floor.

Minutes later, during clean-up time, I noticed that the track for Declan's side table drawer was broken too. Yes...more evidence convicting the Deckster.

Can it be that our little boy is really a super-hero stuck in an almost 18 month old's body? It would explain why he has such a big desire to eat. He needs to replenish his body after a long day of fighting off the torturing antics of the Mighty Maya.

Mighty Maya (or self nicknamed Super Daughter) has been known to scale walls and leap from high heights (otherwise known as her headboard). She counts "One, Two, Three, Go!" and lands on the soft pillows below, just barely dodging the relaxing Hercules.

The parents of these two super heroes have therefore decided to remove said headboard from Mighty Maya's bed out of fear that someone will lose an eye, or at the very least, a tooth.

...and so the remodeling continues.
