Fourth Anniversary

On October 8th, Jeremy and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. Every year we do the TRADITIONAL gift thing and alternate between us in choosing a gift or outing. This year was my year and the gift was supposed to be Flowers or Fruit. I wanted to do something that we don't normally have a chance to do together - just the two of us - so I made a picnic and we went to Champoeg Park. There were a few (almost unnoticeable) flowers around the park so I lucked out on that one. But in the packed picnic bag I had packed some fruit for dessert...a favorite of mine. Jeremy is much more a COOKIE kind-of-guy so I baked his favorite Chocolate-Chip cookies. All in all, we ate more than we walked around the park, but it was a beautiful time. With two kids that keep us busy we hardly ever get a chance to just be with each other in the quietness of the outdoors. I love you Jeremy and here's to another wonderful 4 years!

I hope you have another 40 years, not just four more! I bet you can't wait til it gets to the Golden Anniversary! HA!

Great job on the collage of pics! We will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary too! we usually do the traditional gifts as well, the 4th year isn't too exciting, fruit/flowers! Hope you had a great anniversary!!
