Declan's surgery went well. Jeremy took him and said that he didn't really cry that much at all. However, he cried a bunch afterwards. He now has a red rash all over his body so I am washing all his clothes in a new detergent to see if that changes anything. If not, we will have to bring him back to the doctor to see what is going on. Hopefully it is nothing big though. He is eating well and looks more alert these days. He is now 8 lbs 5ozs, so he is back up to his birth weight plus a couple of ozs. I can hardly believe that he will be 2 weeks old on Saturday!
Here is a picture of Maya and Declan when they were both 10 days old. They look a little bit alike but I think Declan will end up with a darker eye color.

He and Maya definitely look different but it's amazing how much they change once out of the newborn stage. Maya looks so grown up now beside Declan.
Wow I think they look a lot alike! They are both so precious..that Maya is gorgeous!! You better tell Jeremy to get ready for the boys :-) He is growing up so quickly..enjoy it! Glad the surgery went well..xoxo Diana
they are both precious! they look alike but maya definitely looks feminine and declan definitely has masculine qualities.
