We had a great Easter and Maya loved painting and looking for eggs with her cousins. Yesterday I had to go to Portland to get my finger-prints and photo done for the final step in this long immigration process. I got lost and ended up in Washington. The whole while I kept thinking "Dear God please let me find this place, I don't want to lose my children and my husband and get deported!" I was a wreck! I ended up being a couple of minutes late for my biometrics appointment but it was no big deal. So now all I have to do is wait for my green-card to arrive in the mail and I am set (at least for the next 10 years). That is the next step - filing to state that I want to remain a permanent resident of the U.S. I am so glad I don't have to worry about anything for the next 10 years though.....and THANK YOU LORD for not letting me get deported!
Just 3 more sleeps in this house and then we will be in our new one....yay! I will leave you with a family picture taken at our Easter celebrations at Jeremy's parents' house.

Lovely family photo!
Tammy, I'm very doubtful that you would be deported just for being 'late' for your appointment.
By the way, I love your picture. Can't wait to see my beauties!
Love you, Mom
Great picture.... you look fantastic!!!
haha, deported. Tammy you are too funny. It would have taken a lot more than being late for an appointment to have you deported. Illegal mexicans find a way to avoid deportation I think you are fine. hehe. Although, crazy Canadians need to be wrangled.
