Settling In

We are not all settled in yet but we are getting there slowly. I managed to get one wall in our bedroom painted while the kids were at their grandparents' house one day. However, I haven't been able to get the other 4 walls done since then. We really need it all painted soon because our bedroom set that we ordered online is due to arrive within the next week or so and we want to have the walls painted before then. We are pleased with the color we chose and can't wait until everything is done so we can focus on other rooms of the house. I managed to get one bathroom painted (the powder room) on the main floor the first week we were in our new house. Here are the before and after pictures of it:

Maya has been sleeping in her big girl bed for a couple of nights now. Actually, it is just her mattress on the floor. She moves around too much while she is sleeping so we didn't want her to get hurt by falling out of the bed. Even though we have a security railing for it, I'm sure she would still manage to fall out. It is a little difficult getting her to stay in there for her naps but we are working on it.

Declan finds Maya HILARIOUS! He just can't stop laughing at her, unless he's crying because she stole his binkie...haha. He is rolling around now and should soon be sitting-up on his own. He still hasn't cut his teeth yet but he's drooling like crazy so it will happen soon. Maya had 2 teeth by the time she was 4 months old so it is strange that Declan is 5 months without his first one. He's getting taller every day. Both Maya and Declan wear the same size diaper now (stage 3) which seems so crazy to me.
