We were able to file the passport papers this weekend and all photos turned out great. I was really surprised that both kids did so well but when you bribe them with LOLLIPOPS you can get them to do just about anything. So Jeremy and the kids should be receiving their passports in just a few weeks....YAY!
We took the kids to a larger park in town and it was a little CRAZY! Maya can make friends pretty easily but they are usually older kids who can do a lot more on the structure than she can. This particular park was a little over our heads - literally - so we were constantly watching them. Declan liked walking in the bark-dust the best:)
On Sunday, we decided to go back to the old church we were attending in Sherwood. We felt comfortable there in the beginning but we wanted to see if there was a place in Newberg that would suit us better seeing we LIVE in Newberg, but that was not the case. We are pretty certain that we will continue going to the Countryside Community Church in Sherwood now. The nursery workers were very surprised at how big Declan was getting. Both of our kids have moved-up a class since the last time we were there. When we went to pick them up after the service, Declan was in a high-chair in a separate room. The teacher said that when they had snack-time, he was a little over-stimulated so they decided to put him in a high-chair. Jeremy and I laughed because we knew that OVER-STIMULATED actually meant that Declan was stealing the other kids' food. What can we say, he likes his food!
Maya loves to take pictures so I let her take some with our camera on Saturday. She decided to take some of her star-stickers, even though the pack was almost empty.
She loves, loves, loves to do her nails. We are not allowed to help her or else she pouts and cries. She is a very independent soul! Here she is trying to dry them...
We took the kids to the big park in town. Most of the park was a little too scary for the kids but there were a few things that younger kids could take advantage of, like the baby swings. Maya loves to push her little brother.

It's nice to go where you feel comfortable.
Declan looks a little unsure of his sister pushing him in the swing. Too cute!
I hope that Countryside continues to be a great fit for your family! We went there for awhile when Austin was 3 or 4 months.
It looks like you had a great time at the park! I can't wait for the weather to get warmer to have some fun park play dates!
The kids looked like they were really enjoying themselves at the park! I cannot wait for the sun and many playdates at the park!
I am so glad church is happening for you. it is so hard to find a place. Sorry you didn't find one closer, but it is worth the drive, I am sure. Had a great time with Jeremy skiing the other day. We'll have to get you up there soon! Life looks fun for you all. I love the blog page. Lovely! So intricate and detailed. I cannot seem to keep up with mine, lately, let alone add bells and whistles!
