OUR NEW HOME!

We offered, she countered, we countered her counter, she countered our counter to her counter, we accepted! The closing date for our NEW HOUSE will be March 28th - nearly 3 weeks sooner than we had hoped for, but we are excited to move. The new house is in a new area of Newberg and there is a park just up the street from our house. We took Maya to the park yesterday and she has already made friends. Both Jeremy and I feel at home in the neighborhood and we are thrilled that we do not have to do any major work on the house. The backyard needs a little TLC but we love that sort of work. The front yard is cared for by a Home Owners Association so we don't have to worry about that. It's so nice to know that all of the houses around us will look pretty from the front. The interior has all white walls which we are also very excited about because NO PRIMING! I have already chosen all of the interior colors and we will be painting as soon as we close on the house.
Today we need to get some things done on our current house (ie. exterior caulking...etc.) because the weather is supposed to turn to rain by tomorrow. It is hard to pack with 2 little kiddies around but I know we will have to get our packing butts in gear soon so we can get out of here by months' end.

Congrats! It looks beautiful. I am glad that you found a house that you are happy with. You will do a great job decorating and making it your own. One tip. Pack a suitcase with necessities for the kids, just a few toys to keep them occupied. That's what we did. Belle was 3 and Zach one when we moved and we packed up everything before and left only what we needed. I hope that helps.

Congrats on the house. Packing with 2 kids isn't too bad. I agree with Shandelle.
